Hi,
Focusshoot is a personal photo gallery. These photos may not be the best, or the sharpest, but are an experience and an adventure! I was always interested in photography, even back when I didn't know that I was into photography! Years later, I decided to sort of indulge in this hobby and, picked up a "better" point and shoot camera with a built in optical zoom lense. Fast forward a year or so, I became unhappy with this camera. I was fortunate enough to be able to afford some equipment, so I picked up a DSLR camera and a lense, however, I did not really know much about how to use the equipment, but I was determined, besides, I just spent a lot of mone, so I must learn. So I read many books on the subject, and I did a lot of online research, and went out there and started shooting. And began to have favorite subject, like landscape, nature and wildlife, which explains  why my collection of photos consists of mostly that, no people to complain or get angry. My pictures of people are only of close family and friends, and all are kept private.
Anyways, because I'm out there taking random pictures, and looking for new ones,  I discovered I like hiking.. a lot, then started wanting to go camping, then I picked up mountain biking (nothing crazy, just smooth dirt roads and some moderate trails in the woods). Sounds crazy, but having this camera suddenly transformed the way I live my life; going from basically from home to work to home, to being more active than I ever been.
That is why I have very special feelings when it comes to photography; in a way it changed my life style to the better, it made it a lot more interesting. This collection is a record of places I got to go see, nature that I always loved, but never really appreciated its beauty in depth. Focusshoot.com Photography website is made to record this beauty!
